POLICE ARRESTS NOTORIOUS KIDNAPPER AND 2 RAPISTS

The Yobe State Police Command has arrested a notorious kidnapper identified as Gambo Dahiru, a native of Bara Kakura village.


The Bara Police Divisional Headquarters and detectives from the Police State Intelligence Bureau (S.I.B) arrested Dahiru while collecting a N3 million ransom from his victim named Mamman Alh. Ahmed.


Police say they are on the trail of his other syndicate members that are currently on the run. 


In another development, the Divisional Police Headquarters, in Potiskum apprehended two rapists. A 26-year-old Adamu Hussaini Abdullahi and a man named Mohammed Sani.

Adamu Hussaini Abdullahi was arrested for sexually molesting a 10-year-old girl in a room at a table water factory where he works as an apprentice. 


According to the police, the rapist took advantage of his victim when she went to the factory to purchase table water for her mother. 


Similarly, Mohammed Sani sexually assaulted a 12-year-old girl who went to buy bread for her mother at a bakery called Hamdala Bread Bakery.


Police said the culprit, who works at the bakery, lured the girl into a room and defiled her.  


The Commissioner of Police, Yobe State Command, said the state CIID, Damaturu has commenced investigations into both cases.
