POLICE NAB 19 SHI'ITE FOR UNLAWFUL PARADE IN ABUJA

The operatives of the Federal Capital Territory Police Command have arrested 19 members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) also known as Shi’ite over an “unlawful parade”.

The protest ensues following the court rejection of an application filed by El-Zakzaky seeking that his and his wife's E-passport be released to him by the Department Of State Services (DSS).

Meanwhile, Justice Obiora Egwuatu ruled that El-zakzaky failed to prove that the DSS took the passports away, after his return from India.
