POLICE NAB FOUR SUSPECTS OVER LYNCHING OF MAN IN EDO
Operatives of Edo State Police Command have arrested four suspects over the killing of a man in Benin, the state capital.
The suspects are; Emmanuel Igube, 19; Matthew Gimba, 39; Monday Nathaniel, 30; and Gabriel Akuba, 20.
They were nabbed after the lynching of a suspected thief on Sunday at the Iyanamo community off Ekehuan Army Barracks, Benin.
The victim was allegedly mobbed over an allegation that he stole an unregistered motorcycle.
The arrested quartet are currently assisting the police in an ongoing investigation.
