POLICE NAB SUSPECTED DRUG DEALER AND NINE OTHERS IN JIGAWA STATE.
The Police Command in Jigawa State has arrested 10 suspected drug peddlers and recovered 102 wraps of cannabis after a raid on criminal hideouts and black spots at Unguwar Gabas in Taura Local Government Area of the state.
Reports indicate that the 10 suspects were arrested following the deliberate effort of the Command to rid the state of crimes and criminality, on July 11, 2022, at about 23:00hrs.
Those arrested during the raid include: Isah Saleh (Male) age 22 years, Usman Hassan (Male) age 25 years, and Dahiru Sama’ila (Male) age 20 years, all of Manlafiya Kaugama LGA. Others were Usman Nasiru (Male) age 20 years, of Rigar Garin Baushe Gagarawa Division, Yusufa Usman (Male) age 18 years of Dugunu Gujungu Taura LGA, Ali Ado (Male) age 30 years, and Garba Wada (Male) age 20 years, all of Gambayi Nomi Village. The rest included Hassan Muhammad (male) age 20 years of Bela Gagarawa LGA, and Nura Haruna(Male) age 20 years of Jimfi Kaugama LGA.
An intelligence gathering led to the arrest of a drug dealer at Bakin Kasuwa black spot in Taura town, identified as Mahdi Salisu (Male) age 33 years of Taura town, Taura LGA.
At the end of a thorough investigation, all suspects would be charged to court to face the full weight of the law.
