ROBBERS ATTACK EMIR PALACE, SHOT GUARDS IN MINNA
The palace of the emir of Minna was on 4th July 2023 attacked by gunmen suspected to be robbers.
The information available indicates that the gunmen gained access to the palace through the first and second gates of the palace and performed their robbery activities by taking away an undisclosed amount of money meant for the council of the town from the council's cashier.
The gunmen also shot two guards of the palace; one in the leg while the other was shot in his chest.
Both guards are being treated at a nearby hospital.
