SUSPECTED HOODLUMS MURDERED COUPLE, ABDUCT THEIR SON AND SET HOME ABLAZE
Some group of suspected hoodlums allegedly murdered a couple identified as Kehinde and Bukola Fatinoye, at their residence in the Ibara area of Abeokuta, Ogun State, on Sunday, January 1, 2023.
The victims were murdered in their home in Abeokuta, shortly after returning from a New Year crossover service, and their son was abducted by the suspected hoodlums who set their home ablaze.
The husband who is said to be a staff of the Central Bank of Nigeria, while his wife, Bukola, worked with the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, were burnt beyond recognition with their remains later packed by policemen and health officials who visited the scene.
Information available indicates that the couple was still mourning the demise of their second son in July 2022 when they were killed on New Year's day. Meanwhile, the police have arrested one suspect alleged to be behind the ugly incident.
