THEATRE COMMANDER OF OPERATION HADIN KAI, MAJOR GENERAL CHRISTOPHER MUSA COMMENCES A TWO-DAY OPERATIONAL VISIT TO FRONTLINE TROOPS


The Theatre Commander (TC) of operation Hadin Kai, Major General Christopher Musa has commenced a two-day familiarization tour of operation Hadin Kai.


The visit is to acquaint him with the locations, assess troops’ deployment, and the efforts embarked to counter Boko Haram Terrorists (BHTs) and their Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) allies.

He was accompanied by Commander 7 Division Garrison, Brigadier General Abubakar Haruna, Theatre Civil/Military Coordinator, Navy Captain Sunday Ayuba, and other Principal Staff Officers in the Theatre. 


During the visit, the TC will assess the operational readiness of the Brigade and units at the 27 Task Force Brigade Buni Gari. 


Dignitaries on ground to welcome Gen Musa upon arrival at Buni Yadi by Commander Sector 2 are Brigadier General Adamu Nura, Commander 27 Task Force Brigade (Bde), Brigadier General Bemgba Koughna and the Deputy Commandant Nigerian Army Special Forces School, Brigadier General Warrah Idris, 



The TC, during his address to troops of the Brigade and members of the vigilante group deployed in the area, appreciated the Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Faruk Yahaya, and his team for their consistent effort at combating terrorism and insurgency. 


While assuring them of adequate support and logistics, he encouraged them not to rest on their oars. He further admonished them not to relent on the tempo of the operations.
