TROOPS REPEL BOKO HARAM ATTACK ON GAJIRAM COMMUNITY IN BORNO

The Nigeria troops successfully repelled Boko Haram/ISWAP attack on Gajiram town in Nganzai Local Government Area, Borno State.  


According to sources, the attack began around 11 pm on Saturday, June 13 and claimed the lives of 1 soldier and one member of a civilian task force, 


Following the recent successes of the Nigerian military over the Islamic insurgents, the Boko Haram terrorists seem to be fighting back. 


In the last 7 days, the insurgents have launched a series of attacks on vulnerable communities. 


Eons Intelligence reported that 67 villagers were killed, and over 1000 cattle were stolen when the terrorists invaded Faduma Koloram village in Gubio Local Government Area Borno State on June 10.

The following day, the terrorists took on the military at about 9.15 pm. The insurgents claim that they successfully seized two military vehicles and killed a soldier. 


Yesterday, the terrorists once again attempted to invade Monguno town. In collaboration with the Nigerian Airforce, the military thwarted their efforts and successfully secured the lives of the residents.
