UPDATE: GOVERNOR SULE APPROVES MOHAMMED UBANDOMA AS NEW SSG
Governor of Nassarawa State, Abdullahi Sule, has approved the appointment of Barr Muhammed Ubandoma as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
This was made known yesterday in a statement signed by the spokesperson of the Governor, Yakubu Lamai.
Barr Ubandoma’s appointment as the new SSG takes effect from today.
“His Excellency Engr Abdullahi A. Sule, the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, has affirmed his confidence in the proven capacity illustrated track record and tested the integrity of Barrister Mohammad Ubandoma Aliyu, to serve with competence, unalloyed loyalty and unbridled sense of purpose in the office of Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State,” the statement said.
Recall that on June 9th, 2020, Eons Intelligence reported that Governor Sule sacked the former SSG, Alhaji Aliyu Ahmed-Tijani, over alleged corruption.
Alhaji Aliyu Ahmed-Tijani, who was Commissioner for Education under the regime of Former Governor, Umaru Al- Makura, was alleged to have embezzled N1 billion meant for the renovation of schools, and was indicted by the State House of Assembly.
Barr Mohammad Ubandoma obtained his first degree in 1987 from the University of Maiduguri and holds a Law degree from the University of Jos. He is also the junior brother to Mohammed Adamu, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) in Nigeria.
