COVID-19 cases in Nigeria inches closer to 8000 as total infections now reach 7839.
Number of active Coronavirus patients who are on admission at the isolation facilities rises from 5131 to 5350.
44458 persons have been tested for the dreadful COVID-19 in Nigeria.

Lagos remains the nation's infection focal point; 148 new infections discovered yesterday, 3505 in total.
FCT recorded 36 new cases, and rivers was third in the list in new cases recorded yesterday with 27 new victims of the virus discovered yesterday.

Death toll of COVID-19 in Nigeria rises from 221 to 226. Only Enugu, Taraba, Anambra, Benue, Imo, Abia, and Bayelsa are yet to record COVID-19 deaths in Nigeria. They also have the fewest number of COVID-19 active patients in the country.
Kogi and Cross River are yet to record any COVID-19 case in Nigeria.
