COVID-19: CONFIRMED CASES OF COVID-19 IN iSON XPERIENCES RISES TO 69
Six more members of staff of iSON Xperiences have tested positive to COVID-19 raising the numbers of infected workers to 69, Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde said.
Governor Seyi Makinde confirmed this in a tweet on Sunday, May 24.
Makinde, said out of the seven new Coronavirus cases confirmed in the State, six are from the customer experience provider located in Ibadan South West Local Government Area.
“The COVID-19 confirmation tests for seven suspected cases came back POSITIVE. Six are from iSON Xperiences, and one case is also from Ibadan SW Local Govt Area.
“So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State is 240,” the tweet read.
This development raises the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the company to 69.
Recall that Eons Intelligence reported that 63 workers of iSON Xperiences tested positive for Coronavirus in one week.

Makinde said that the company will remain shut and will be decontaminated, adding that the Emergency Operations Centre has continued intensive contact tracing to identify persons of interest linked to members of staff in the company.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Sunday, May 24, Oyo State has recorded 240 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
