NIGERIAN ARMY RAIDS BANDITS HIDEOUT IN NASSARWA, KILL TWO
The Nigerian Army on Wednesday, December 9, conducted a raid on a major bandits’ hideout at Angwan Mada village close to Tunga in Nasarawa State killing two criminals in in the process.
The operation was carried out by troops of Operation Whirl Stroke and 177 Battalion following credible intelligence about the bandits’ hideout.
It was gathered that the troops overpowered the bandits in a gunfire exchange and killed two of the criminals responsible for kidnappings and other crimes in Angwan Mada village.

The raid also resulted in the recovery of 20 locally made rifles and other ammunition.
Other ammunition recovered from the bandits include 40 empty cases of 7.62mm special ammunition and 5 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition.
This comes 24 hours after the Nigerian Army successfully killed five Boko Haram terrorists in Borno State.
