BREAKING : NORTHERNERS ARE PENETRATING OUR STATE - OSUN GOVERNMENT

Osun State Government has reported that some northern youths are sneaking into the state.

This was disclosed by the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, Prince Adeyanju Binuyo in an interview on Wednesday, 29th April.

He said the state government has been prompted to deploy officials of Amotekun to border communities of the state.

He added that the northerners sneaked into the state by hiding in trucks transporting essential goods.

However, President Muhammadu Buhari had exempted essential workers from lockdown order to enable the distribution of food and relief items.

He hinted that the Zamfara Youths, especially are guilty of the offence.

He hereby urge residents of the state not to panic as adequate security measures have been put in place.

“Government is aware of a huge influx of non-Osun residents into the state, especially from Zamfara. They were coming majorly through the Ondo axis, accompanying trucks that are carrying food materials purportedly to be sold around the South-West generally.

“Sometimes the trucks would stop and drop some of them off along Ife Express Road where they are received by their fellow Northerners already resident in the State.
