A total of 340 abducted students of the Government Science Secondary School in Kankara have been released.

Eons Intelligence has gathered that the children would be spending the night under heavy military protection in Tsafe local government area of Zamfara.

This is because the children appear weak and tired, after spending 6 nights with little food in captivity.

The children were released this afternoon as reported by Eons Intelligence but spent hours navigating the unmotorable road out of the forest.

Eons Intelligence gathered that the Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawalle offered to chauffeur the children back to Katsina state.

Recall Eons Intelligence reported that bandits led by Daudawa along with Dankarami and Idi Menore attacked the all-boys school on Friday, December 11 and abducted the school children.

The release of the school children was midwived by Government officials led by Governor Aminu Masari and the Department of State Security (DSS).

Boko Haram's factional leader Abubakar Shekau tried to buy off the boys and claim responsibility for the attack but thanks to the intensified effort of the Nigeria Military in collaboration with local vigilantes who mounted surveillance and surrounded the bandits, the boys have been released.
