BREAKING: SUSPECTED BOKO HARAM TERRORISTS ATTACK BORNO STATE GOVERNOR'S CONVOY
Gunmen, suspected to be members of the Boko Haram insurgents attacked the convoy of the Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum at Baga town on Wednesday, July 29.
Report says the gunmen opened fire on the governor's convoy however, there were no casualties.
The northeast has been in a decade-long battle with Boko Haram terrorists who have so far displaced nearly two million in the region and killed about 36,000 people, as well humanitarian workers.
Three months ago, Ali Modu Sheriff, the former governor of Borno state, was attacked by the Islamic insurgents along Maiduguri-Damaturu Highway.

Shortly after suspected Boko Haram terrorists attacked the convoy of the Borno State Governor, a video has emerged online showing Governor Babagana Zulum accusing security agencies of lack of commitment.
“We remain grateful to all of you but I think the commitment is not there,” Governor Zulum could be heard telling a military commander.
