BOKO HARAM ABDUCT MOBILE POLICEMEN IN GWOZA LGA OF BORNO

Eons Intelligence have gathered that Boko Haram insurgents have abducted an unspecified number of mobile policemen at the police mobile training school in limankara village, Gwoza LGA of Borno State.

Sources disclose that the assailants invaded the community on several gun trucks around 8.30pm on Thursday night and shot sporadically at the training school.

The attack comes one week after Boko Haram insurgents attempted to infiltrate a military base in Gwoza town but were heavily resisted by troops.

It is pertinent to mention that Limakanra village is the hometown of Senator Ali Ndume, the Chairman Senate Committee on Army.

The training school is located 25 km from Gwoza town. It is a border town between Borno and Madagali LGA of Adamawa State.

Recall, on October 30, Eons Intelligence reported that Boko Haram/ISWAP stormed Damboa Local Government Area of Borno state, killing two Mobile Policemen (Mopol) and setting their head office located in the town ablaze with three operational vehicles.

The attack was met with heavy resistance by the mobile police who engaged the insurgents in a gun battle. The assailants overpowered the security personnel and killed two of them in the ensuing shootout. Also, they looted three shops in the community and set offices belonging to hunters and security operatives ablaze.
