GOVERNOR AKEREDOLU ORDERS HERDSMEN OUT OF ONDO FORESTS WITHIN 7 DAYS

The governor of Ondo State Aakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu has issued a 7-day ultimatum to herdsmen to leave Ondo forest reserves effective Monday, January 18.

In a statement issued on Monday, the Governor blamed rogue herdsmen for the criminal activities in the state including kidnapping for ransoms and other nefarious activities.

Governor Akeredolu has also banned night grazing stating that most farm destruction takes place at night.
