GUNMEN ABDUCT TEN PASSENGERS, RAPE WOMAN TO DEATH ALONG IKUIKWUATO-UTURU ROAD
Gunmen have abducted over ten passengers and raped a woman to death along the Isuikwuato/Uturu Road in Isuikwuato LGA of Abia State.
Sources say the incident occurred around 5.30pm on Wednesday November 24.
It was gathered that the victims, who are mostly students, were commuting from the University town of Uturu to Isuikwuato town, when they were ambushed.
It was learnt that security operatives along the expressway engaged the gunmen in a gun battle but the assailants succeeded in whisking their victims into a nearby bush.
