HERDSMEN NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ATTACK ON NGBO COMMUNITY IN EBONYI- STATE GOVERNMENT
The Ebonyi state government has stated that preliminary investigations revealed that herdsmen are not responsible for Monday’s attack on Ngbo Community in Ebonyi State.
Recall that Eons Intelligence reported that several residents were killed and houses set ablaze on Monday following an attack on the village located in the Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
Setting the record straight, Dr Monday Uzor, the Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor said the attack has been linked to the age-long communal rift between Ngbo and Agila communities.

He also stated that the leadership of the Fulani herdsmen (Miyetti Allah) denied involvement in the attack while reiterin that herders will not on any account perpetrate attack on any part of the state.
