SEVEN DIE, FIVE HOUSES BURNT AS SECURITY OPERATIVES FOIL BANDITS ATTACK IN KADUNA
About seven persons have been confirmed dead following an attack from bandits at Gora gan village in Zangon-Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Sources say the incident happened around 11.30 pm on Thursday night, with the assailants setting five houses ablaze and also injuring an old woman.
It was gathered that the onslaught could have been worse but security operatives came to the rescue of the residents.
Recall that on Thursday night, bandits also ambushed the convoy of the Emir of Kaura-Namoda in Zamfara State killing eight persons in the process.
Similarly, in the early hours of Friday, December 18, bandits abducted Shaibu Usman, the Eje of Ankpa in Kogi State.
