ANAMBRA; JOINT SECURITY TASKFORCE SMASH THROUGH UNKNOWN GUNMEN IN IHIALA, KILLING SCORES IN COMBAT
The joint security task force, backed up by Anambra state government recorded a huge success in their fight against unknown gunmen.
Available reports indicate that scores of them were killed including the leader of the deadliest Osumogbo camp of the unknown gunmen, ‘double lion’.
The Taskforce includes the DSS, Army, Police and Vigilante group.
Security forces combatted the gunmen in Ihiala LGA. This was the major settlement for the Unknown Gunmen in Anambra State until late when the government started operations to flush them out of the state.
The Osumogho camp has also been destroyed by the Government Joint Taskforce.
