BREAKING: NIGERIA’S COVID-19 CASE RISES TO 5,959 AS NCDC CONFIRMS 338 MORE INFECTIONS
The number of coronavirus cases in Nigeria has increased from 5,621 to 5,959 as the Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC on Sunday, May 17th, announced 338 new confirmed cases.
Of the 338 new cases, 177 infections were discovered in Lagos state, 64 in Kano and 21 were recorded in FCT.
Lagos state has recorded a total of 2,550 confirmed Covid-19 cases, the highest in the country.
A total of 1,594 have recovered in the country with 182 deaths.
