EDO COMMISSIONER FOR COMMUNICATION AND ORIENTATIONS, PAUL OHONBAMU RESIGNS
The Edo Commissioner for Communication and Orientation, Paul Ohonbamu has resigned from the Obaseki administration.
He tendered his resignation on Thursday, June 4.
According to his resignation letter addressed to Governor Godwin Obaseki, Ohonbamu claimed he resigned for the“general good” and “pursuit of happiness” for Edo citizens.

Ohonbamu’s resignation is coming two weeks into the All Progressives Congress primaries in the State.
The Obaseki administration has witnessed a number of men relinquishing their portfolios.
Taiwo Akerele, Chief of Staff to the Governor; Solomon Okoduwa, Senior Special Assistant on Anti-Human Trafficking and Illegal Migration; and Senior Special Assistant on Donor Agencies Emmanuel Sule all resigned from their posts in April.
