GUNMEN KILL FIVE PERSONS IN CANTEEN
Unknown Gunmen have killed five persons at Nzharuvo Miango, Bassa Local Government, Plateau State.
The incident took place on May 28th, 2020 around 9.50pm.
It was gathered that the victims were eating in a canteen when the armed men invaded and killed them.
The owner of the canteen, Miss Asabe Samuel was also killed in the rampage. One of the five customers killed was a school teacher identified as Mr Gideon Tunku.
The killings were confirmed by Nuhu Nkali, Chairman of the Miango Youth Development Association.
Nkali said; "We just lost five of our people in a fresh attack. The victims were killed at a food shop in Nzharuvo Miango around 9:50 pm on Thursday. The shop is just along the road about 18 km to Jos.
“The victims just went there to eat when the gunmen came and shoot all of them dead; Miss Asabe Samuel, the shop owner, Mr. Gideon Tunku (school teacher), Bala Adi Joro, Audu Amadu Mi, and Shedrack Joshua.”
Nkali added that security agents are already investigating the incident and 10 suspects are currently being interrogated.
