KATSINA POLICE FOILS BANDITS’ ATTACK, RESCUES ELEVEN ABDUCTED VICTIMS, RUSTLED LIVESTOCK


The Katsina State Police Command has foiled bandits’ attack at Gidan Duka village, Kankara, recovering thirty-eight cows, eleven sheep and a Bajaj motorcycle.

 

Eons Intelligence gathered that on Sunday, November 14, around 2.30am, several bandits armed to the teeth with AK47 rifles had attacked the village.


Security operatives however foiled the attack and intercepted the criminals at Danmarabu village. A fierce gun duel ensued and the bandits escaped into the forest abandoning all their loot.

 

The recovered items include 38 cows, 11 sheep and a Bajaj motorcycle belonging to the bandits. Efforts are on top gear to nab the fleeing criminals.

 

In a related development, security operatives engaged bandits in a gun battle at Sabon Garin and eleven abducted victims were rescued.

 

The abducted victims have been reunited with their families.
