KWARA VOWS TO PUNISH INTERSTATE TRAVEL VIOLATORS

Kwara State Government has vowed to inflict a penalty to those who defy its interstate travel ban.

The Deputy Governor and Chairman of COVID-19 Technical Committee, Kayode Alabi, said this, yesterday, at a meeting with Traditional Rulers in Ilorin, the State Capital.

He admonished the executive members of the community to inform their people to stay anywhere they are until the end of the pandemic.

The Deputy Governor stated that “the virus does not show on faces and the moment a carrier mingles with others, it increases community spreading”.
