NAF Boosts Joint Operations with Shooting Range Exercise in Port Harcourt
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has reinforced interagency cooperation with the successful completion of its 2025 Shooting Range Classification Exercise, conducted by the 115 Special Operations Group (SOG), Port Harcourt.
The three-day drill, held from 26–28 August at the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School range in Onne, was aimed at sharpening marksmanship, discipline, and combat readiness. It also showcased operational synergy, as officers from the Nigerian Navy and other security agencies participated alongside NAF personnel.
The initiative aligns with the vision of the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar, to enhance realistic training and strengthen joint force integration.
By engaging sister services in the exercise, NAF not only improved combat competence but also fostered stronger inter-service trust and collaboration — a key requirement in tackling Nigeria’s evolving security challenges.
