POLICE ARREST FAKE MILITARY OFFICER IN ADAMAWA STATE.
The Operatives of the Adamawa State Police Command attached to Girei Divisional police headquarters, On the 17 July 2022 while on an intensive surveillance patrol in a bid to ensure safety and security at Sangere Futy, in Girei Local Government Area, apprehended a 22year Old man, who was sighted parading himself as a military man threatening and extorting members of the public.
The suspect Paul Shaltha a resident of Sabongari ward Girei Local Government Area, confessed to having paraded himself as a military man sometime last month, threatened and extorted one Michael Stephen a Keke Napep operator for allegedly violating traffic rules.
An investigation is on going and the suspect will be prosecuted accordingly.
