SOLDIERS KILL ARMED ROBBER, RECOVER WEAPONS IN PLATEAU
Men of the Nigerian Army on Friday, October 16, killed an armed robber along Bokkos-Barkin Ladi Road, Plateau State.
The operation was launched by the gallant soldiers following distress call on armed robbery activities in the area.
The soldiers promptly mobilized to the scene, engaged the robbers in a gun duel which led to the killing of an armed robber, while others escaped with gunshot wounds.

One locally fabricated rifle, 2 mobile handsets, 4 rounds of 7.62mm Special ammunition and one jack knife were recovered from the criminals.

On June 2, two suspected armed robbers were killed by soldiers in Rock Haven Community in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Reports say the two slain suspects were members of a notorious armed robbery syndicate who have been terrorising Jos metropolis.
The officers recovered two locally fabricated pistols from the robbers.
