POLICE ARRESTS 144 SUSPECTS FOR LOOTING MALLS IN KWARA
The Kwara State Command of the Nigeria Police has arrested 144 suspects for looting several malls in the State.
The looters were arrested after they attacked several malls in the State over the weekend, making away with various items.
The Commissioner of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, confirmed the incident to newsmen in Ilorin, on Monday, October 26.
The Police Chief, who said the suspects were arrested after combined forces of the security agencies, stated that the looted items were also recovered from the suspects.
The CP said the Items recovered include motorbikes, bags of cement, mattresses, chairs, generators, toiletries, and food items.
He urged members of the public not to hide the looters but provide information that will lead to their arrest.
