POLICE NAB KILLER OF 300L BSU STUDENT

The operative of Benue state Police Command has arrested the alleged killer of Erekaa Dooshima Naomi, a 300-level Mass Communication student of Benue State University (BSU). 


The deceased undergraduate was reportedly missing for 3 days after which her iPhone, ID card, and blood-stained clothes were first recovered a week after missing then her corpse was found at a shallow tomb opposite the College of Health Sciences campus of the varsity.


The information available indicates that the deceased’s suspected killer, one Shagbaor Ugosor Japhet, a 25-year-old who is also a final year student of the same BSU, slaughtered his victim with a machete so that he would not pay back N150,000, which the late student handed over to him as house rent.


Meanwhile, Japhet who neither gets the house for his victims but confessed to using the money to gamble online has been nabbed by the police at his hideout in the Makurdi metropolis, barely a week after.
