THE WORST IS YET TO COME - MINISTER OF HEALTH
Dr Osagie Ehanire, Minister of Health has told Nigerians to prepare for the worst.
Ehanire disclosed this on Tuesday, May 19 during the daily briefing of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.
He said Nigerians should prepare for the unexpected even as the Federal Government has been striving to curtail the spread of Coronavirus in the country.
President Muhammadu Buhari extended the ease of restrictions in Lagos, Ogun and the Federal Capital Territory by another 14 days to cushion the effect of previous total lockdown.
Kano, on the other hand, had its lockdown extended following rising cases to enable prompt action in containing new COVID-19 cases in the State.
Ehanire urged health workers and Nigerians to strive to help in combating the spread of Coronavirus and also prepare for the worst.
