TWO TCN STAFF SUSTAIN INJURIES AS THEIR VEHICLE STRUCK LANDMINE PLANTED BY BOKO HARAM TERRORISTS IN KAGA LGA OF BORNO

Eons Intelligence have gathered that about two Staff of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) were injured when their vehicle struck a landmine planted by Boko Haram terrorists in Kaga Local Government Area of Borno State.



Sources say the explosion occurred when engineers from the TCN and Yola Electricity Distribution Company (YEDC) were commuting to a site where they intend to restore the power situation in Maiduguri, Borno State capital.





The victims, who sustained severe injuries of varying degrees, are currently receiving treatment at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH), Borno State.



The attack on the electricity facility has crumbled power distribution in Maiduguri and some areas of Here LGA causing many businesses that depend on electricity to suffer a setback in the last one month.
