BANDITS DEMAND N300M RANSOM FOR FEMALE JUDGE, CHILDREN IN KADUNA STATE

Suspected bandits responsible for the abduction of one female judge identified as Janet Gimba and her four children have reportedly demanded N300m ransom for the freedom of the judge and the children.


Recall that the bandits on 23rd June 2024 invaded the residence of the judge located in Mahuta Area, Kaduna State at night, ransacked the house and got their hands on the judge, her four children, and whisked them away to an unknown location after which her husband identified as Dr.Musa Gimba Dutse, a medical doctor was on duty at work in that night.


However, the bandits who have demanded N300m on 2nd July 2024 killed the judge's first child known as Victor Gimba, 14-years-old, and also threatened to kill other children and the judge if the family fails to pay the ransom at the given time.


Meanwhile, the security operatives have intensified their activities on the matter to rescue the victims and bring the perpetrators to book.
