67 MORE COVID-19 PATIENTS DISCHARGED FROM ISOLATION CENTRES IN LAGOS.

67 more covid-19 patients were discharged from isolation centres in Lagos, yesterday.


The 67 patients include 45 males and 22 females, including 3 foreign nationals - 2 Indians and 1 Chinese.


Of the 67 patients, 24 were discharged from the Main Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba. 22 were discharged from the Onikan Isolation centre, 11 from the Agidingbi Isolation Centre, 2 from the Lekki Isolation Centre and 8 from the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) isolation centre.


The patients were discharged and asked to go home and reunite with their families after testing negative for Coronavirus twice.


This announcement was made by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on his official Twitter Handle.


Sanwo-Olu Tweeted;


''67 fully recovered #COVID19 patients; 22 females and 45 males including 3 foreign nationals - 2 Indians and a Chinese were discharged to join the society.''


''The patients; 24 from the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, 22 from Onikan, 11 from Agidingbi, 2 from Lekki and 8 from Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) Isolation Centres were discharged after testing negative to #COVID19 in two consecutive readings.''


Also, a pregnant COVID-19 patient was delivered of a baby boy at the Gbagada Isolation Centre. Both mother and child are doing well.
