GUNMEN ABDUCT 27 TRADERS ON KADUNA-ABUJA EXPRESSWAY
Gunmen have abducted about 27 traders on the Kaduna-Abuja Highway, Eons Intelligence has gathered.
Sources say the abducted 27 traders are from the popular Kantin Kwari market in Kano.
The traders were said to be on their way to Aba, in Abia State on Sunday night when the attackers shot the tyre of their luxury bus and ambushed them.
Eons Intelligence gathered that the abductors have demanded a N27M ransom for their liberty, and the fellow traders in the Kantin Kwari market are making donations for the ransom.
Recall that on Wednesday, armed bandits attacked Mando village in Birnin Gwari town, Kaduna State, and abducted 18 persons, including four nursing mothers and their babies.
Sources say the assailants also carted away food items and household materials.
In a similar attack on a Kaduna community, Eons Intelligence reported that armed bandits in the early hours of Wednesday attacked Garu village in Igabi local government area killing two persons
identified as Aliyu Daiyabu and Safiyanu Muhammad.

The Kaduna-Abuja expressway has gained notoriety for the frequency of banditry attacks and Kidnappings that occur along the highway.
Eons Intelligence, on Sunday, November 15, reported that gunmen attacked and kidnapped commuters on the Expressway.
However, the Nigerian Army said it has rescued nine persons kidnapped along the Kaduna-Abuja Road on Sunday afternoon, while two others lost their lives.

On October 4, the Nigerian Army killed two bandits along the route and recovered two locally fabricated guns from them.
Similarly, the Military killed 4 armed bandits at Jeka Da Rabi area along Kaduna-Abuja expressway on September 2.
