POLICE PROTEST IN DELTA STATE, WARN #ENDSARS PROTESTERS TO STOP KILLING THEM, BURNING STATIONS (VIDEO)
Police officers in Ughelli, Delta State have taken to the streets to protest against the killing of their officers by #EndSARS protesters.
The policemen, on Thursday, October 22, warned angry youths to stop killing them and setting their Police stations ablaze.
They threatened to attack any one who dares to kill, attack or burn their stations.
In a video captured online, dozens of armed policemen in the Ughelli Area 'A' Command were seen chanting war songs and warning the protesters to stay away from the command or face their wrath.
“The Police are protesting in Ughelli Area Command/ ‘A’ Division. Stop the killing of Police, enough is enough. And stop burning our Police stations. The Police are human beings. We are tired, we are ready.
“We will kill those hoodlums now that are trying burn the station today. We overpowered them and sent them back. We will kill them. Enough is enough. They say they are coming we are waiting for them,” a voice behind the camera said.
Recall that #EndSARS protesters, on October 8, attacked policemen in Ughelli and killed an officer identified as Corporal Etaga Stanley, Eons Intelligence reports.
The protesters also injured another policeman, Patrick Okuone, and stole an Ak 47 rifle with 25 rounds of ammunition.
