NIGERIA ARMY ON THE HUNT FOR GUNMEN WHO KILLED 11 SOLDIERS IN BENUE
The Nigeria Army has begun crackdown operations to fish out gunmen responsible for the killing of 11 soldiers in Benue state.
The bodies of the troops comprising one officer and ten soldiers who were on routine operational task were found dead in the Konshisha Local Government Area of Benue State.
The Nigeria Army on Thursday said efforts are ongoing to track down the perpetrators of this heinous crime with a view to bringing them to justice while ensuring that “this unprovoked attack does not disrupt the general peace being enjoyed by the local inhabitants,” according to the statement released by Brig. Gen. Mohammed Yerima, the Army spokesman.

The Nigeria military also appealed to the public to volunteer useful information that will lead to the arrest of the perpetrators of this dastardly act.
