I WILL NOT ATTEND BIDEN'S INAUGURATION - TRUMP
US President Donald Trump on Friday said he will not attend the inauguration ceremony of his successor, Joe Biden slated for January 20.
The Republican President disclosed this in a tweet after his Twitter account was opened after been suspended for 12 hours.
“To all of those who have asked, I will not be going to the Inauguration on January 20th,” Trump tweeted.

The latest tweet from embattled President makes it his second post after Twitter unblocked his account after alleged circulation of contents that were believed to have incited his followers to violence, which resulted in the death of five persons and destruction of properties in Washington.
In his first tweet, Trump posted a 2 minutes 41 seconds video where he condemned the Wednesday Capitol attack, saying that the demonstrators who infiltrated the Iconic building have defied the seat of American democracy.
In the video, he said “Now congress has certified the results, a new administration will be inaugurated on Jan. 20. My focus now turns to ensuring an orderly and seamless transition of power.
“This moment calls for healing and reconciliation.
To his “wonderful supporters”, he said: “I know you are disappointed but I also want you to know that our incredible journey is only just beginning.”
