GUNMEN INVADE CHURCH IN KATSINA, KILL CATHOLIC PRIEST AND ABDUCT ANOTHER
Eons Intelligence have gathered that gunmen invaded the St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church Malunfashi, Katsina State, killing a Catholic priest, Reverend Fr. Alphonsus Bello.
Sources say the assailants kidnapped another Catholic Priest in the church identified as Rev. Fr. Joe Keke.
The gunmen invaded the church premises on Thursday night, and shot sporadically, leaving some persons injured in the process.
It was gathered that the lifeless body of Alphonsus Bello. Fr Keke was found in a farmland behind the Catechetical Training School, Malunfashi
However, the whereabouts of Fr. Joe Keke is still unknown. The abductors have not made contact with his family or the church.
Recall that gunmen on Wednesday abducted a judge identified as Alhaji Husaini Sama’ila at a Sharia Court in Bauren Zakat village in Safana Local Government Area of Katsina State.
