HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE HOSPITALIZED IN SOUTHERN INDIA WITH MYSTERIOUS ILLNESS
Reports indicate that about 450 persons have been hospitalized in Andhra Pradesh of Southern India following the outbreak of a mysterious illness.
The State Government of Andhra Pradesh, confirming the outbreak on Monday, December 6, said the cause of the illness is unknown.
It stated that the illness has affected over 300 children and the symptoms include; dizziness, fainting spells, headache, and vomiting.
The Government revealed a 45-year old man died of a heart attack following the emergence of the symptoms.

The State Health Minister, Alla Kali Krishna Srinivas, who said water contamination has been ruled out as a cause of the disease spread, noted that patients who have reported the symptoms have all tested negative for Covid-19 or viral infections such as dengue and herpes.
He said; “We tested everyone for Covid-19 and that came back negative, so we know it is not that.”
