GOOGLE HONOURS NIGERIA AT 60 WITH SPECIAL FEATURE
The world largest search engine, Google, has felicitated with Nigeria on its 60th Independence Anniversary with a special doodle feature on its website.
The doodle displays the Nigerian green and white colours with a picture of a brown eagle standing with figure 60.
A click on this feature unveils another page where important facts, statistics, and history about Nigeria are displayed.
A Google Doodle is special feature on Google's homepages designed with the intention of commemorating holidays, events, achievements, and other landmark figures.
Recall that in January 2010, the first animated Doodle on Google honoured Sir Issac Newton.
